I'm not one for quoting Donald Trump very often, but...

While we're on the subject of Craigslist...

For example, if you have a powerwasher, you probably only use it once or twice per year. The rest of the time it sits in your garage. With Loanables, you can rent it out when you're not using it, saving the other guy money, and simultaneously helping you offset its cost.
Here's the dealbreaker: not enough people use it.
The closest item I could find to Kansas City was in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. That's 556 miles from my house, according to Google Maps. Apparently some markets are well represented, like Austin, TX, Round Rock, TX, and yes, Beaver Dam.
I think it's a great idea, but unless the word gets out, and people start using it, it's doomed to fail. Craigslist could make this type of thing sing, if it just added a "For Rent" section.

Back from Michigan
I came back to Kansas City today, and in a neat little twist, so did Hillary. She initially planned to return Wednesday, but ended up catching an earlier flight that got us both home tonight. I wasn't looking forward to spending even more time without her, so it was nice for me.

New iPhone firmware
It's installing as I type. It looks like there are a few must-have applications for me. Namely eBay and PayPal. Also, the Exchange support will be awesome, but I probably won't be able to get it going until I get back to the office next week.

Headed to Leelanau
I land around 2:00 pm. I'll try to update this blog and my Smugmug
page with pics as I get them.

Well...
Since Hillary spilled the beans, I'm proud to announce to those of you who don't yet know, we're expecting a baby in February.
